Hi Draculangela #1 Backers!

It has always been our desire to add to the number of books/titles released on Kickstarter, therefore, I am very proud and excited to announce that our 'spicy sister' division, INFERNO PUBLISHING, is ready to roll!

The premiere title release is "THE PERILS OF PASSION"....

We have a whopping 12 cover artists who contributed to this initial effort. We also managed to convince writer Scott Wilke (Periwinkle, Bobby Jo, Dead End Moon, Hypergeist and more) to introduce you to our brash and beautiful red-head Bounty Hunter of Demons and the Occult. I believe you will thoroughly enjoy the twists and turns Scott has set up for this first chapter of the series! Our interior artist is the incredible Carlos Rod Silva, and talented colorist is Federico Sioc Jr, with Eric Enervold on the lettering....all of whom have helped "Angel of Blood" and "Lythium" shine under the Markus Publishing umbrella!

Just a quick note that the we are down to the final weekend for picking up your copies of the awesome Angel of Blood remix of our rising hero Draculangela with all new covers and updated dialogue! The campaign has been able to introduce an expanding force of collectors from the MERC Publishing fanbase!

What an incredible start to the campaign! Thank you to everyone who has already checked out the Remastered Version of Draculangela 1 running through LEGENDS/MERC Publishing!! If you haven't had a chance to do so, we encourage you to please take a look at what all the excitement is about. The covers that have been created for this campaign are utterly PHENOMENAL! Perhaps you've heard of a certain artist named SHIKARII?!!!!!

Hey there Draculangela Devotees! Hope you all enjoyed a fantastic summer and are taking in the amazing colors of fall, while catching up on that stacks of comics that is eagerly anticipating your perusal!

In our previous post, we hinted at a huge milestone for the future of Draculangela. I am honored and proud to report that we have finalized an agreement to become one of the cornerstone "Original 6" titles in the newly established LEGENDS Publishing line of comics and entertainment!!!!

 WHAT IS LEGENDS?
LEGENDS is the sister company of MERC PUBLISHING (Miss Meow, Born of Blood & Deathrage), which is co-owned by the incomparable comic-industry business guru Shawn Hudachko, and astoundingly talented character creator and artist Jamie Tyndall. Both of these gentlemen have established highly respected reputations throughout the comic entertainment industry within the last decade. Here is the mantra that they have established for the fledgling imprint....
 "Legends is here to bring you a combination of new and established voices in the comic industry across a wide variety of genres and styles. From the team that brought you Merc Publishing, Legends is a creator centered publisher that will bring exciting projects to comic shops everywhere that may have never had the chance to be seen!"
WHAT IS NEXT FOR DRACULANGELA?
 Folks, It is because of all of YOU that my team and I have the ability to answer this question, and for that we are incredibly thankful. Kickstarter is an incubator format for independent small businesses and entrepreneurs. It is a wonderful platform to alpha test products and ideas, and we are grateful to have utilized this pulpit to introduce the Draculangela Universe through it.  Due to the positive response to the first two issues of Draculangela, as well as for LYTHIUM here on Kickstarter, we were able to establish a reputable podium upon which to attract attention from more established independent publishers like MERC/LEGENDS. The benefits of the agreement are multi-dimensional!
We're starting off by going 'back to the future'. Over the next few months, REMASTERED versions of the first two chapters of Draculangela will be released through Kickstarter under a revised title...DRACULANGELA - ANGELA of BLOOD. The logo is cleaner, and it portends to what the future holds for our reluctant heroine/femme fatale going forward! 

The revamped campaigns will also host remastered dialogue to the original sequential art. This decision is to support a better flow for the aspirations we have to cultivate an entire universe of characters around Draculangela and Lythium, and the version of future-earth we originally established. The writing/editing aspect will be a joint effort, with a veteran writer/editor of efforts for DreamWorks, Capcom and Blizzard Entertainment overseeing the twists and turns that will be forthcoming! BUT THERE'S MORE!.....

NEW COVERS will be revealed for all of the revamped campaigns, utilizing MERC's considerable talent pool of artists in addition to your previous favorites from the original campaigns!! Feel free to take a peek at previous MERC PUBLISHING releases on KS and you'll find a roster of A-List creatives we now have access to request putting their definitive strokes of brilliance into furthering the striking persona of Draculangela and her cast of characters!

These campaigns will be approximately 2 week efforts each on Kickstarter. They are designed to allow MERCs' database of voracious comic collectors/followers to 'catch up' to Draculangela's history. Because there are no sequential art changes, please do not feel obligated to pledge to this campaign, but we do encourage you to follow along because this, and future original versions of Draculangela's tales will be posted under the LEGENDS KICKSTARTER CREATOR PROFILE.  (Markus Publishing may be used as an incubator profile for other worlds/characters going forward.)

WHERE IS DRACULANGELA HEADED?

With the support of a strong and emerging new force of independent publisher in MERC/LEGENDS currently taking the industry by storm, we believe that the possibilities are exponential! Angel of Blood is in the planning stages of release through retail U.S. LCS locations in the second half of 2023 or early 2024. This doesn't mean we are leaving the audience we love so much and are so appreciative to here on Kickstarter, however. EXCLUSIVE covers and art will continue to be unleashed to our faithful and astounding family of Kickstarter fanatics throughout the world prior to any retail releases for each and every new chapter of Draculangela, Lythium and any additional spin-offs we have in mind! YOUR previous and future investments will only be enhanced by the growth of the Angel of Blood universe as the primary limited edition runs will still be generated from this format. And we also hope that you will take an extra level of satisfaction in knowing that it was with your help that we are able continue this journey in this fashion!

We promise that with all of the super-talent that has now joined forces, the wild ride we began for this universe will only improve in effort and entertainment!
